Can I turn off auto-saving in 2.0 2019? I prefer to save on my own.

I didn't know V2 has auto-saving. If it has, it should be a user option to switch it on.
Auto-saving leads to disaster if one experiments with an existing project and auto-save overwrites the original rsd file.
I do have backups but rather not use them.
