Hi there.
I'm running the trial version of RSD on a Mac operating OS 10.10.1 but I'm having issues with the file being saved correctly.
I'm making changes and saving, but when I preview it's not showing the latest version, and the same is happening when I export - so the files just aren't being saved.
Am I missing something?

Also, what is the simplest procedure for this app?
I've been using Dreamweaver for 15 years, so everything is in 1 place - but here, am I right to create the page in RSD, then add any HTML extras (like the menu) in Web Editor, then use an FTP client to upload it to the server?
Seems longwinded......can you confirm again, am I missing something?!

Can you upload or attach your .RSD project file so I can see what is going on? It sounds like you have been making changes on a specific breakpoint . I bet if you maximize your browser and then slowly reduce the size, you will see your changes. This would apply to exporting as well.


There is no need to do anything outside of RSD. You can add your menus, sliders, custom.css files and more right through the application. Once your site is complete, simply export it and upload it with an FTP client. You can fully say GOODBYE DREAMWEAVER!

OK great! but I don't understand where / How I can add HTML code in RSD.......I want to add the two pieces of HTML from the Menu builder....

Use the HTML Element. With that you can paste any custom markup you like. You can also add custom markup to the HEAD and FOOTER under the Settings Tab.

I can't actually believe I missed the HTML element - it's there staring me in the face!!
