Sorry but I posted this in Site Designer instead of here and I've reposted here. I can't close off the wrongly posted one as well!


Hi there,

I accidentally saved my Galleries Component by modifying it with some containers. When I viewed the component, it had attached to it some Social Media icons which I didn't want. I deleted the Galleries component and thought that I could just reload it from the index on the left hand side of the Components dialogue box. However, the Galleries component is now empty and I can't see how to get that component back. I even tried a re-install of RSD but it still comes up with that component unavailable.

How do I get the Galleries component back please?

HOWEVER
This is not something that should be done lightly if you have any doubts or do it wrong then then will have to be a complete removal of SD clean registry leftover filess etc then reload. It's up to you and is your responsibility

Thank you for the info but I can't find the App Data folder. I use a Mac and maybe it's different. I can display hidden folders in Finder but I can't see this folder.

This is the path to the shared settings on a mac:

/Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/CoffeeCup Software/Common/SharedSettings.ccs

All fixed as per your advice. Galleries is now back in Components.
