Mine installed alongside V1.5 so I have both working on my computer. It says it's version 2 as it's opening, it says version 2 in the title bar and it says version 2 in the Help Menu>About. When I start it up it opens with a Coffeegrinder grid. From what Scott & Inger are saying this is not expected by the sound of it. Interesting!

If you have selected one of those to be your default project in version 1.5, then it would still follow that setting. If you want to use one of the new ones, select Foundation, Bootstrap3 or Bootstrap4 blank and check the set as default box.

That's interesting, I did select it as default in V1.5 as I did not want to use a theme, so I can do that and build Desktop down in V2 as I could in V1.5 then? That sounds great :)

What is going on?

Still confused?

I own Foundation which is a copy of original software RSD 1.5 software made for Foundation Framework.

I own Bootstrap which is a copy of the original software RSD 1.5 software made for bootstrap 3 and 4 alpha.

Now today, I pay 69.00 dollars to upgrade from RSD 1.5 to 2.0 beta which includes bootstrap AND foundation with NO coffee grinder framework and a few added components and symbols which the latter two programs have.

You did not have to pay for anything as you already owned RSD 1.0, Foundation Framer and Bootstrap Builder. If you refer to the newsletter at the bottom it said "* Psst...Do you own V1 and FF and BB? You might qualify for a free upgrade, email us and we'll help you out.".. All you had to do was email us to get it free. I did respond to your support ticket last night and refunded the $69.

There was also dozens of new features and enhancements to version 2.0. You can view the full list here at http://rsd-v2.coffeecup.com/ And given you got it for free, BONUS! :)
Learn the essentials with these quick tips for Responsive Site Designer, Responsive Email Designer, Foundation Framer, and the new Bootstrap Builder. You'll be making awesome, code-free responsive websites and newsletters like a boss.

This gave me an idea: I opened v1.5, made an empty DDP file my default, and then, when opening V2, the programme opened with exactly that default. I then saved this empty page as a component and saved it to the library. It seems like I can use the DDP component as a template in v2, in coffeegrinder, and with all the bells and whistles of the new version. Is it too good to be true, or...?
I actually don't use coffeegrinder myself (I always use ground coffee! :P ), but it might be a help for those who still want to build with it and from desktop down.

Are there components & capabilities that Coffegrinder doesn't have that Bootstrap & Foundation do have in RSD2 ?

In V1.5 the component feature was not incorporated, so for the coffeegrind system I guess there are no nuch things. Whether you can create components in coffeegrinder opened in V2, I can't check right now, as I've had a computer crash (driver power state failure) after a windows update :(
