Anyone else having issues with build 2208? The page manager is driving me nuts. If I select duplicate page nothing happens until I click OK. Then it closes and automatically re-opens with the duplicate page named (name of old page)_1. Then you rename the page to what you want, click OK and RSD switches to a page named (name of page)_1. Hang on, I thought I renamed that?

So back to the pages list and the renamed page IS showing correctly in the list. However if you select it, RSD shows at the top that you have now switched to that page. BUT, YOU HAVE NOT. In fact select any other page RSD goes to it, then select the new one you created and RSD says on the top that you are on it, but in fact you are on the previous page you viewed.

I landed up editing the wrong page and thereby losing all the content on that page because I though I was on the new page I created.

Several reboots later I still have the same problem and cannot create a duplicate page to make a new one. Project has ground to a halt and I will have to roll back to an earlier version of RSD in order to continue.

Anyone else seen this, or is it just me?

I should add that this is a website built in coffeegrinder, not bootstrap or foundation (I am not a mobile up person)

I believe the latest version is Build 2220 rather than 2208. I'm wondering whether the same is experienced in Build 2220.

In 2208 I had some issues with pasting code into the footer and getting it to save the changes but I did a shut down and fresh start up of RSD and that seems to have re-set it. The save icon / dialogue still isn't popping up though in it so it's tricky to tell if it is actually saving sometimes. I'm about to get into another page here soon so I'll let you know on that.

I thought I downloaded 2220 yesterday, it still says I'm up to date on download page. But I see now the program, and the download exe says 2208. So that's a bit weird.

You're right, I just checked and the latest version does say 2220 even though yesterday I downloaded 2208. I will download this version install and let you know if it is fixed.

I installed 2220. It is only half fixed. Now it creates the duplicate page just as it should, however if you try to go to that page the same thing happens. It says it's on the page but in reality you are still viewing the previous page you were on.

If you save it and close and reopen RSD you can now go to the new page, but you have lost all formatting on the page making it useless.

This is not an issue in just one file, I opened a couple other websites and it does the exact same thing.

Might need to open a work ticket on this.

That should not be happening Bruce. It is a bit late over here, but we will look into this first thing and see if we can get it replicated. If we can, we will get that fixed ASAP.

I wasn't able to replicate that with mine in win 10 Bruce, we'll see what Scott finds. I got the new page and the focus worked, I didn't save and re-open though. I won't be getting to that until tomorrow.
The save is stable now too. It does pop up the dialogue and it's not intermittent any longer.

Here I switched to another page (ash-scattering) then switched to sailing-school. RSD remains on ash-scattering but says at the top it is on sailing-school.

Here's some more info. I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled 2220. Problem persists. By duplicating a page, closing and reopening RSD I can get to where I can start editing the page. However, if I switch to any page that I used as the source for duplication the formatting is completely gone: see this screen shot: http://www.longmancomputers.com/windsong/rsd3.jpg

However by switching to another page (that wasn't used as source for duplication) and then switching back the formatting returns and page looks normal. (????)

Here's some other random issues I have noticed since upgrading:
1. Even after editing a page, the "Save" is still greyed out and I can only save using "Save as..".
2. Undo does not work, ever.
3. The delete key sometimes does not work when in a dialog box in the design panel, close and reopen fixes.
4. Suddenly the Design panel goes blank and the page content on every page goes blank with the message "It may have been moved or deleted". See this: http://www.longmancomputers.com/windsong/rsd4.jpg. Only way I get everything back is to close and reopen rsd.
5. I edited a page completely, saving every step. Then I created a symbol for a row on that that page, switched to another page, inserted the symbol and switched back to the original page and all of the changes I made (except for the symbol) had disappeared and was replaced by the content of the original page it was duplicated from. NOT COOL! That was several hours work!

I currently have three new websites I have been hired to work on, but am at the point that I don't trust RSD to save the work I am doing so all three projects have ground to a halt.

I have even tried rolling back to an older working version of RSD (2140), but it won't let me open any of the projects because they were saved in a new version.

So I seriously need some help with this. The site relies heavily on symbols and components I have created, so not sure if that helps.

Bruce, I would suggest opening a support ticket and provide us a link to the project file. Also, if you can take some screen recording and show us the process you are taking, we can try to replicate any issues you are having.
