Wayan has never mentioned not to use spaces in image names
Wayan says there are no folders on the hosting site, nothing for images or for CSS or for other stuff.

That is not important, because all the images are also in the correct folder, the 'images' folder. You may actually delete the ones outside that folder, you don't need them twice

Sorry, I think I confused it either with someone else, or what you have said somewhere else. ;)

Maz, It shouldn't make any difference that you have several domains. What I'm wondering about is whether your installation of SD went haywire somehow.

Could you try to uninstall it, and then redownload and reinstall it? After that, open SD and make something, a test project, with say, some bit of text, one background image and one foreground image, and if you haven't used up all 10 domains, upload it to an available one and see how that goes? And let me see the folder structure of that.

I see you are a Mac user, so you could download the FTP client FileZilla and try a transfer using it.

Hi there,

I deleted all files in that domain and created a test RSD with just one image called ammarface.jpg.
I checked on my hosting - and there is a folder called images and when I view details, it says it's there BUT I get the same thing happening where the image isn't displayed, just text.

I'll try a re-install of the software this evening.

Thanks... Maz

Hi again,

I re-installed site designer and created a test site with just one container and two images.
It still doesn't load anything. There isn't any text but just 2 images and therefore, because it's not displaying images, the screen is just blank.
Tried on Safari and Opera...

Aha - something just happened!!!

I tried again but instead of using containers and adding background pictures, I used a picture container and added a picture and this showed up on neferium.com when I uploaded it.

I had another image that was loaded in the background of the picture container which would be visible if I scroll (as was seen in my preview), but that didn't show up. Only the image that was in the picture container.

Surely, containers should display whatever is put in them, even images? I also noticed that a couple of folders were not created/uploaded which were CSS and JS folders. When I upload the complete site, I don't get these folders but when I did a single page with a picture container, these files were present.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
