Hello all...I'm using the foundation orbit image scroller...any way change the speed of the transitions to the next slide? It's a bit slow for my preference.
THanks,
Mark

The slider movements are dependant on the 'motion-ui' which is switched on by default in SD. I don't think it would be possible to change anything there, unless you know exactly what you're doing, and where to do it. I wouldn't touch it if I were you.

Hmm
Select the container :
"Orbit" slide on over to the elements tab <\>
Down to "select an attribute" open that and scroll down the list until you see
DATA USE M U I
select that and in the field below type. false
Then back to select an attribute again

This timr
choose "CUSTOM"
In the field Name type
data-timer-delay

The default timer is 5000 milliseconds. In the field below(value) is where you set the new desired speed

So a larger number slows down the animation, a smaller number speeds it up
Boom
There you go
A faster or slower slide transition

In that attributes section you can also set different ways for the animation between slides but that's another solution upon request

However there is one thing you must consider

The site is made for your customers so when changing the speed it's not your preference that counts it's whether or not your customers can appreciate or even view the contents of the slider if it is too fast.
Consider this, you are aware of the contents therefore it maybe that you think it's too slow, but your visitors will be put off looking if it changes slide before they have finished looking at it.

Just a thought for consideration

Here is a short silent movie showing the process

https://youtu.be/ad1IBa6p6w8

use full screen view to see better view

by entering the attribute "data-use-m-u-i' = false

you are just stopping that one component from using M U I,, any others that use it can still use it

Thanks, Wayan!! I will give this a try. As for preference...it was also an issue with them. I told them I would see if it was possible.
As always, thanks for helping me and everyone else on these forums.
