Fantastic skill not many have in terms of graphics and art.
If you apply your unique skill in a mastery way the website will rock.

My opinion does not count no matter how much I love it. But I like .com/sf/ much more than .com because yellow and white
mix together on .com

Ultimate judge of your site would be clients and visitors and perhaps setting up google analytics and making sure SEO is in good health.

Run Coffee Cup Website Insight to see. Your main page is fantastic in terms of size. You kept it below 1.4 Mbytes which means you are master of keeping images size down while quality is still high.

Your HTML is not validating. Run https://validator.w3.org/ and see if HTML validation issues are serious or not. Sometime they are not but my validates 100% (took me while to solve though).

Your key words choice is great with website, design, affordable on top 3 spots.

Your site does not have sitemap.xml (use CC Sitemap app) and robots.txt (easy to do to using windows notes make googlebot happy).

Go to webmaster https://www.google.com/webmasters/#?modal_active=none to see what googlebot and google likes and what they don't. Setting up sitemaps for your site.

There are some broken links on you website and you use CAPITAL LETTERS in your links. For google capital is not same as CAPITAL.

Try to use "-" instead of "_". I have made same mistake and I no longer can fix it but google see aaa_bbb as aaabbb while aaa-bbb is aaa bbb by google.

The only reason I am writing this for you is because I really like your web page (I wish myself or my sons would have such gift of art) and it all depends. If you intend to attract your clients directly than what I wrote is not as important but if you intend to attract your clients and visitors also via google search engine than SEO is important.

Thanks for sharing. Nice

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!

Steve, YES, I definitely plan on taking advantage of 'out of view properties', but I have to get a handle on building mobile up, still. That is still throwing me for a loop so I can't start with a fresh site just yet in RSD2.

Cintaku, thank you for all the great info. Yes, I will do all mentioned above, once I get the site figured out. Gotta figure out the best way to eliminate the "_". Those have been haunting me for years. Goes way back to when I originally designed my site. Just kept them so I wouldn't lose searches that were already established. Maybe I just need to bite the bullet and just change them now. Thank you, too for comparing my current site with the new one. The yellow is one of the reasons I am redesigning it. Want to make it easier to read.

Hi Spoonfrog
Can I also just make a suggestion for you to consider? and that is you move the section "Our Work" up higher on the page underneath the "Why Use Us" section would be perfect.
My reasoning for that is visitors to your site are really coming because they are interested in having a web-site designed for them. It makes sense therefore to hit them fairly straight away with what you have done before so they can go take a little looksee, the other sections then become the icing on the cake so to speak.
Only my humble opinion, and if it needs too much redesigning, then stick to what you have.

Thanks Wayan Jaya!

I will look into swapping the sections around and possibly moving the 'our work' section closer to the top! :)

The other thing you could do rather than move the section is have a call to action button in your header (additional to "Our Services" or replacing it) to take them to "Your Work" section. (make it a bit of a slower smooth scroll than the normal 1200 default, say 1300 or 1400) that way your visitors get a chance to see what other sections are around on the page as it gently scrolls down.
I would also be inclined not only to have work you have done on the "Our work" section, but include if at all possible two or three of your past customer testimonials (or whatever you want call that) The effect for your visitors by including something like that will be a great step in building up of a feeling of TRUST in what you can do and have done for people who are wanting a web-site done for them. You could also think about having something like that (without cluttering up the "Why Choose Us" section, And add a title something like "See why Others Chose Us" with a couple of choice testimonials then put a call to action in that section "See Our Work"

Only my thoughts on what I believe visitors expect to see & how we as designers web-site owners can help them make their choices & next steps.

Great minds think alike! I was thinking the exact same thing. Now, if I can actually get some time to work on this. Clients come first!
