Hi Forum
I'm try to create a web page similar to this one.

http://whiterock.construction/eco-cottage/

The left hand margin is fixed. I've created something similar in RSD but find the pictures or text to the right of it, tend to move behind this fixed border. So my wish, for arguments sake is if the border was 250px from the left of the screen I would like everything to move relative to that fixed verticle line 250 px from the left of the screen. It's like the edge of the screen starts 250px to the right of the LHS of the screen if you get my drift. Or perhaps if you have a picture, the left hand edge of the picture sticks to the verticle line 250 px from the LHS and all the resizing occurs to the right of that line, so the LHS edge of the picture never moves it's always 250 px from the LHS of the screen....
If I haven't confused everyone then perhaps the unconfined might have some idea of what I'm talking about!!

Thanks Tim

If we could have a look at your attempts, it would be better to help us see the problem and help you correct it. Could you post your RSD file here?

Hi Inger
Ive attached the file. Its very basic as im just experimenting to get the layout to work.
Basically if you use the breakpoint slider you will see the top picture slides under the LHS verticle nav bar which is fixed.
I would ideally like the LHS edge of the picture, (or text what ever) to stay on that 250px verticle line rather tahn slide under it. Of course i dont know if thats possible. Hope you understand what im aiming for?
Ive had to change the file extension to .jpg to get it to upload...

Thanks T.

Tim, I have been thinking a bit.

First you need one row split in two columns. The left one probably narrow and the right one wide.
Then set the wide column to float right, and also set overflow to scroll
And the left column to be fixed.
I would stick some subgrids into the right column, as many as you need for the content.

Oh, you posted just the image you want to use. I was hoping that you would post your rsd file. To be able to help, we need to see code, not illustrations. But read my mail where I'm trying to understand you problem. Maybe you will be able to sort it.

Inger, Change the .jpg extension to .rsd
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Sorry, I didn't get that bit about the file ending. I had some problems opening it as an image, though...

Seems to me that the problem has been solved, though.

But I think I'd run that word 'Testamonials' through a spell check.

Yes, I wrote above that you had to set it to fixed.
