New Site, Mobile Not Showing, Desktop...

So my actual first site with the latest version of RSD. I designed in mobile mode, then adjusted the desktop mode.
After uploading the site the desktop mode looks pretty good but the mobile mode does not show up right at all. It looks like the breakpoints aren't set, no pictures, text is way off.

What did I miss?

Looks like you are using RSD version 2.x and have started designing your site at a middle viewport. From where you started and upwards everything looks fine, but below your starting point parts of the contents are missing, or at least the styling is missing. You need to move the slider to the left, beyond the lowest breakpoint and insert the missing contents there.
This is a common mistake to make when you are new to mobile-first design. Been there, done that ;)

OK, Thanks Inger.
Thought I was in the lowest breakpoint when I designed it.

It's so easy to forget if you are new to mobile first ;)

That may have indeed been the case. With 'mobile first' one starts at less than the lowest breakpoint. When one is at a breakpoint, the settings one makes are for that screen width and greater.

I too have been caught out by that.

Just a note that the breakpoint function can be toggled off if you prefer more working space — this will make sure all style changes are applied before the lowest breakpoint. Turn it back on when you want to design for specific breakpoints. The control can be found in the toolbar:

The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Thanks everyone. RSD V.2 has so many new things in it to learn yet. Think I got it now-
