Hi all,

I have study w3schools it's about Bootstrap CSS Grid and Flexbox and I have an good perfect result.
I now to pay an host for create my domain name and put my light weight home made website without any external
builders or other tools. I like more handcoding and modify the CSS files, JS files and HTML files.

My personal website has just been finished with all the bootstrap components that I need but completely by hand maybe a lot of work but has been finished.
I am really waiting for the components to be built into SD v4.0 so far I will not use it anymore so it will go faster by hand
I test now it's all responsive to all my devices.
I store my website as template for later reused

I publish the website when I pay an host domainname and host place for one year.
Everything is built without wordpress purely html5, css3, js, jquery and bootstrap framework 4.3.1, fontawesome icons library
You really have 100% freedom in building websites

My goal is now to design websites for customers but everything 100% without any web builders too many limitations that I no longer have. I can fully use the CSS properties, design complete forms with all the elements that I need without restrictions and I really like that.
So learning the basics of web design and web development gives you a lot of freedom

I very facinated how all this works

With Kind regards
Stephane

Apparently he hasn't published his site yet.

I agree with you, Stefke, that it is very useful to be able to hand code. I used to do that myself up until about 2016, and I was using Bootstrap (started with version 2, I think). I still do some projects that way.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Don't knock the tools CC supplies just because your skills have advanced enough to not need them. CC's SD is a great tool that saves me from doing a lot of hand coding. I still do plenty and use the HTML editor for that which is an awesome tool.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Good for you. First learn the basics and then learn to appreciate the power of tools that may help to save time. Fundamental lesson for all craftsmen.
From now on you may address all your questions and wishlists to W3C.

By the way: getting a webserver and domain name usually takes 10 minutes....
Stefke.be is still available

That has been my experience also. I would question any host that takes more than few hours.

Even here in Indonesia almost instantaneous, in fact only 10-15 mins and the whole shebang is live up & running, but then it's taken a long time to get to this stage so could be quite a while yet.
