I have developed a structure that I use in all my layout to create my websites from now on.
Here is the layout it's in html5. I'm use the base classes and then can add an derive class

<body>
<site-container>
<content-container>
<section-container>

</section-container>

</content-container>

<site-container>
</body>

Kind regards
