I finally got one picture to show up as seen in my other thread...I started trying to build a site by adding some elements and a basic layout looks fine in my preview function in a browser but when I upload I am left with a blank page.

Logan you don't have to create new post for the same problem and now you know that there is nothing wrong with RSD, you have to look for problem in your side probably your ftp application or possibly virus and so on...

Guys at coffeecup are awesometacular.

Its not a virus and the FTP application is Coffee Cup FTP.

I thought the problem was solved yesterday because I had named the image with capital letters...I never posted anything or made the file look for anything different..I just clicked on the file with capital letters...I figured RSD would sync up or automatically sync up....but I guess not. So I renamed the files with lower case letters and it resolved the problem...now the problem is back.

Why would the FTP program be the culprit? It just transfers files?

I am looking at all possibilities on all sides...but if I can't get support here where do I go? Does coffee cup offer another avenue to get support? Am I in the wrong place?

I said it because you already have opened a topic a day before and we in forum tried to help you.

If you think your topic is related to Coffeecup FTP application then post your issue on FTP forum .

Logan,

Do you clear your browser cache 'every time' you upload a set of files? That can be the difference in what you see and what we see. I see the same thing that Scott sees, just what you described as what you're not seeing.

You are in the right place for all the 'free' support you could ever want but you may not get an answer right away. Everyone in here (except CC employees) has their own things they do and when they help it's because they have the time at that moment.

One of the best things you can do to get help is share your project file. You would get an answer so much quicker because we can 'see' what you've done or haven't done that may be causing your problem.

I do not believe it to be FTP...you suggested FTP...any thing is possible...but I would be surprised if the file transfer software was altering the code or altering files to cause the issue.

Logan's problem was that his uploads of code generated by RSD to his website at www.angryfishreelco.com were showing up incorrectly. One part of that website showed up, as I previously reported, as some HTML 4.01 code instead of a fish picture. That same page seemed to alternate between being a picture of a fish and being HTML 4.01 code. I saw both versions of the page.

I posted here a screen-shot of the HTML 4.01 code I saw, along with a note that Googling the part pointed to in that screen-shot suggested untoward activity at the website's server. I received an email saying that my post related to Web Form Builder and not to RSD, and that it had therefore been deleted. As the stated reason for the deletion seems erroneous, and the screen-shot seems to point to the real explanation of Logan's problem, I attach that screen-shot again.

I am puzzled by the suggestion that my deleted post related to Web Form Builder.

Logan,

Did you have a previous website uploaded to your server? From what Frank posted it almost looks like you have two different index files uploaded.

If you did have other files on your server did you make sure you deleted all of the files before uploading your RSD files?
