I'm using Foundation blank template

I've built http://artistinall.org/2020/workinprogress so that when viewed in larger displays the container that containers the three graphics that display text (The Text for each of these graphics starts with: "Virtual Artist In All Exhibition", "Presenting Sponsors", "State Funding Changes coupled with COVID-19". is set to sticky, allowing the artwork in the adjacent column to continue to scroll when the text graphic container sticks.

For the mobile display size I've set these same three containers to static so that both the text graphics and artwork will jus scroll with normally with no "sticking". The problem is that when I set the display position to the right of the first breakpoint to sticky it also changes the mobile display setting to sticky.

How do I preserve the mobile static position setting while using a sticky setting for larger displays.

Did you activate the breakpoints before you made the change? If you did not, All the changes you make will be for the first (narrowest) width.
If the above doesn't apply, then it would be best if you would post your project file again. I have the previous version of it (the gap problem), but you seem to have made substantial changes to it since then.

well to be honest without seeing the actual project file it is a little bit difficult to see what is going on

one thing is have you set the breakpoints to "Default Mode"?

I am pretty sure that's the reason

I fell for that new normal in the beginning when they first did it, couldn't work out what was happening *or not happening) for a few minutes

Wow!!!

Didn't breakpoints used to be enabled by default?? I never disabled them so I just assumed they were enabled and never checked them. Sure enough when I looked they were disabled. I enabled them and everything is now fine.

Thanks so much for your quick help!

Sorry to be a bother with such dumb stuff.

Yes you are right, they did and the reason they made the change apparently is to try educate users to start their new projects 'mobile first" due to the amount of time and effort they were having to spend sorting the problems out for a lot of users
Although I support and acknowledge this "new normal " there are a couple of things I wish they had done
1/ there wasn't (or if there was I must have missed it) any announcement about the change..
2/ it is not blatantly clear that the breakpoints are disabled, there should be a more obvious visual indication for all to see, say a darker background colour and perhaps the default breakpoints more blurry.
3/ change the words in the breakpoints drop-down, because it's a bit confusing, because the default now is "all breakpoints disabled" and the " default mode" should read "Enable Breakpoints" which in my opinion and others who have mentioned it makes it more obvious.

Maybe one day they may get around to implementing that.

Glad you are back on track again.
