Mobile Apps - Post ID 262555
Has anybody looked into making mobile apps with one of the the application tools (like PhoneApp) that advertises that they are HTML 5 and CSS based? Was wondering the success of these , ease of use etc..
Can one create a site in RSD and then use that code for the app?
From reading on it some have had success but if its a large app not so much but was wondering how the forum thought
Thanks in advance

I built an app through the HTMl editor and am now making new pages with both RSD and the html editor. An html and css based app makes it so you don't have to do as much special code for as many devices. I tried to check out the one you referred to but the link they had on their website didn't work. That tells me to stay away from them.LOL
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Sounds like an important safety tip to me!!!!!!!
Were you able to upload and have it on IOS and Android? Use iTunes and Google Play for distribution?
Thanks

My app has a very specific market that I'm able to reach out to since it's part of my job. I guess any of these app builders have some advantages over each other depending on the developers skills and time they can devote to it.

Makes sense - you don't do this full time?

No, I built the app for my own use but found out it was so handy that I decided to start coding it for use by others. That part is pretty much done and I'm gathering testers at the moment.
