Menu problem

Created site:
https://mercyflights.galenswebsite.com.

Sometimes the drop-down menu (created with Easy CSS Menu builder) overlaps a portion of an HTML 5 Video element. When it does that the menu options that overlap do not work.

Screen shot attached.

I recall there is a setting somewhere in SD that overcomes this problem. I just can't recall where it is and what the input value is. Something about "z" value maybe?????

Using SD V5, build 3528

Thanks for your help!

Z-index is the name. It's found on the Style pane, in the Position section. You need to have the element in question positioned to something else than static.

Select the menu container(not just the dropdown)
over to 'Layout'

down to 'position'
set position to relative if not already
look for the z-index setting below that
set z-index to a number say 50

open the dropdown see if its now clickable if not set that z-index until it is say 51(position also relative)

Thanks so much. That did the trick. I've got to jot that down somewhere for next time.
Thanks again.

Create a new project call it my notes to remember
Open your resources
Create a folder called notes(or something) add html file
Give it your note to remember title, type or paste the stuff you want to remember.

Finish
Save project file with memorable name,

Whenever you need look up something you have done open the project file, open resources and whichever file you want there you have it, over the years I have got quite a large resources library now of some things I need remember.
I even publish the project file to a spare domain which I can also look up stuff from.
