Hi Guys :)

Ok so I have a menu I am going to use for a min screen of 1920px as long as I give it an unique class/id when I hide (none) it in the break point and insert the new menu which is responsive with unique class/ids should that work?

First time with 2 menus :D
Cheers

Why don't you have just one main menu for larger screen widths?
If you set a max width or put it in a container at 100%, it should be fine.
Example:
|---mobile menu---640/800-|---menu/reduced size---1024/1280-|---full size menu----------(all other screens)

So after a certain breakpoint (1280 or higher for example), the full, responsive menu is in place.

Hi paintbrush :)

That's what I am doing except that I will be using a static menu at the 1920 and swapping it out to a mobile responsive menu (bootstrap) at low screen sizes.

Sorry if my first post did not make sense :(

1920 is pretty wide, there's a big spread between that and where you would typically go to a mobile version. A static menu that large isn't going to work on a laptop/ultrabook screen, so you'll need a responsive menu anyway between 1920 and the mobile breakpoint.
I guess I don't understand why you don't want to use one responsive menu rather than a fixed-width plus a responsive version.

If you do use 2 menus, just make sure they have different IDs. ;)

Thanks paintbrush!

The menu itself is not that wide, I am using it for desktop sizes, and aimed at gamers so most game players are using large wide screens.

Cheers Mate!
