I went back tonight to do some more work on my on my site after an extended period.
I went to load my project into RSD and all I can get is an older version of my site to load in RSD.
can get, find make a new rsd file from what is online right now?
I only have the index page up now ( all the other pages are a combo VSD and another responsive gallery program) and was planning to tweak that and then create some new galleries via responsive content slider

Sounds like you have 2 copies of your project file and you are opening and older version. Search for all files ending in . RSD and hopefully you will find the correct copy.

To answer your other question, you cannot import from your website.

There is only one rsd file to be found anywhere on my computer and it is the wrong one.
So I take this to mean that I have lost all the work that I have done so far on the newer version?
There is a really big difference between the 2 versions.
If I was using something like cpanel instead of sdrive I would upload a copy of the rsd file to the website as a back up.
It seems to me to be an issue that is going to keep coming back to other users as well.

It would appear so. I suggest you start making good backups and keep copies of your working RSD project file in a safe place. I have never seen a project file "revert" to an older state, so I still think you have or had another copy at some point.

I never said it reverted. I said it wasn't there. I assume it was accidently deleted by me. Why and how I don't know. What concerns me is that there is no way to go back to the project. It is my fault that it was deleted but I think that since this file is so critical that maybe it should also be automatically uploaded or something. When I used VSD it seems to me there was an auto backup of the vnu file and it also went to the site.

That was what I was getting at.

I do have a back up of the site that matches what is online but the rsd file is not there so a careless moment caused the loss before I backed it up.
