Hi this is probably a simple question for most of you, but I am stumped. I would like to make my first page using my own picture (theme). I then want to be able to place a link encompassing the whole page to take the viewer inside the web. Meaning anywhere they click on the picture would take them to the next page of the site. This link I would like to be invisible as it is to encompass the whole page. Anyone know how I would go about this, Just getting my feet wet with RSD, thanks, Jackie

Hi Jackie,

Try placing your picture in a Picture Link 1x1 Element

Best wishes,

Hi Daniel, when I have changed to Picture Link 1x1, would I add a blank page for it to link to? Where would I name this blank page? Thanks, Jackie

Hi Jackie,
Place the picture link element on your page.
    Double-click it.
On the right side of the screen where you see Href input area, replace the # with the address of your page.

You will see it when you double-click! :)

Best wishes,

Daniel

Hi Daniel, I guess I getting to be a pest now, but I have tried what you suggest, to no avail. When I read the online instructions, it said to name the page from the drop down menu, but there is no way of doing that. So I called my first page "page1" in the ID section of the Elements, and called my second page "page2" in the same place on the second page. I placed in the Href of the first page "page2" for where my link was to go. What am I doing wrong? I hate to bother you, but I am getting nowhere. Its times like this when I wish I was using VSD. Thanks again, Jackie

Hello from Sunny Bali,

I am a little confused as to what you are trying to do, have a look at this test to see if its on the lines of what you want

To name pages go to the drop down menu "pages" above the breakpoints bar select "Manage Pages" there is a list of all the pages and their names in the project then double click on the page you wish to re-name, and give it a new name

Then the link is nameofpage.html (nameofpage being what you called it)

putting page2 etc in th Id wo'nt link to that page unless you put nameofpage.html#page2 on the page you want to link from

Hi Wayanjaya, thanks for answering. I usually work in VSD, but decided to upgrade my site, so I am starting from scratch. I opened RSD and asked for a blank page. With this blank page I placed a photo that I wanted to use as my first page. I also wanted to have clients be able to click any place of this page to access the next page of my site. I used the picture link at 1x1 and that worked fine. But when I needed to have the second page I can see no place to name either my first page or my second page. All I see when I drop down the page menu is "index" and (for the second page) "blank" I can't edit either of these titles nor do I quite know where to go. So I am stumped, It seems that I starting off incorrectly, and I am not sure where I should start from. As I said my first page looks OK, except I can't name it nor the second page. I hope this explains the situation more clearly. I haven't gone very far yet. Thanks Jackie

Also you should consider putting some information with the picture something like "click anywhere to see my web-site"
this will help people viewing the site on smaller devices which dont see the hover icon. I know it sounds stupid but osme people wouldnt know to tap the picture to move on, and may just leave without actually going further
