Is there any way to limit a paragraph's max number of lines to say 2 and automatically add ... To the end of the second line?

Then either have the ... link to a new page or expand the paragraph to show all text?

Not sure how to do or even if possible to expand paragraph, but to go to another page

at the end of your paragrapg I am presuming you want to add the words something like ..

.....READ MORE (as example) which would be a link to another page with the full details etc

So once you have typed in your paragraph (one line, two or three is up to you) then type in your words for the link.
.....Read More (highlight those words)
At the top of the text editor design pane (for want of a better description) for the paragraph you are working, on under the "inline elements" is the "Link" with a big + sign.
Click the + sign and enter the link details you require for the new page. (If you give the paragraph on the new page a unique ID then you can do an anchor link to that one paragraph on the new page by using the #(paragraphID) after the page link.
The text will change to the default blue colour, which you can change whilst still in the text editor (and also underline change font style and or size if you so desire.
Hope I have understood what you wanted to do correctly, and hope its clear for you, (first time to try and help someone.
Hopefully someone else can point you the way to expand the paragraph (if at all possible) as an alternative
