Just put a new RSD website on the server today. It looks great but Safari has a problem with background pics. being fixed | cover, they are very blurry. Google, Firefox & Edge works fine. Can someone help with this bug fix?

Please let us SEE the problem. Otherwise we can only make unqualified guesses. If you post your project file here, or pop it into your dropbox, we can take a look.
Also, is it on a Mac computer or on some other Mac device that you have the problems?

I put a background image and set fixed, cover in a row, so as you scroll the image stays put. I looked over threads on the internet yesterday and found that some mobile devices, esp apple doesn't show the image correctly, thus blurry.

Obviously background-size: cover behaves unexpectedly on iOS devices. I've seen some examples of how to fix it, but I can't make them work in my situation. these threads are 3+ years ago Does this make sense now?

So, this is about iOS devices, not on a Mac computer?
Usually you don't set a background attachment to 'fixed' for small devices. Better is 'scroll'. A mobile phone will have problems displaying a fixed background. 'Cover' is correct for all sizes.

When I asked to see your project, it was because I wanted to help you sorting whatever issue you had. Without seeing it, I would have had to create a project myself, assuming I got it kind of like yours, and hope I would find your problem, then export it and upload it so that I could view it on my iPhone. Quite time consuming. I don't work for CC, I'm just a user like yourself. I haven't got all day. If you want help, then please make it easy to help you.
