A trivial matter, maybe - but one that I can't solve.

I want a couple of words in a paragraph to be in bold. I select them in text edit and change the font weight from 400 to 600 or even 900. The words display in bold.

I hit the Preview button: the words display in bold. I hit the Preview In button and my browser opens and displays the words in bold.

I export the page and upload to my site, then display the page. NO BOLD! The page has definitely uploaded as I have tried putting some extra text on it, which displays. Why is the bold text not displaying on my live page??

Hi Philip,
Did you try ctrl+F5?
Can you share a link to the page?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

ctrl+F5?? I have not come across that one!

Since posting, I have tried a few other things. Changing the class of the links (the bold words referred to earlier) to .a works perfectly in Preview and Preview In. But once again, in the browser (both Firefox and Edge) there is no highlighting - no bold, no underline (both of which I put in the original) and no change of colour on hover. But the links themselves work perfectly.

You can see the things I am talking about in the second and third sections of this page: https://www.mspppg.co.uk/news.html

Screen dump of page in RSD attached.

Just a question here.

Did you upload all your file's or just the page that you make the changes on?

You need to upload the css file's too in order for the changes to take affect.

When I had a similar problem...mine was changing font color...turned out it was a break point issue...if I reduced screen size my color came in...had to fix it for the large break point and that fixed it.
Just a thought.

Thanks to all for your help. Problem turned out to be that, though I thought I had done so, I had obviously failed to update the CSS files!

And MJ's ppoint is well-taken - I have had this problem a few times when I have forgotten to work on the smallest screen size first!
