Is this possible? Does it have to be in a certain format?

Hello M
I don't think that is possible at the moment, except for importing them into an HTML element which would make it a very time consuming effort to edit from within site designer, and is something that I am sure would not be recommended or supported if you did.

Hi again M
So There isn't a template from CC that you could adapt to your requirements
there are plenty of us users around that could help show you if you are not sure enough how to do that,

I was wondering the same thing. I tried downloading and opening a couple of free templates from CoffeeCup but it won't open at all in SD 3.5 It says it was made using an older version and would I like to upgrade it to Bootstrap or Foundation or another one. So I tried to click one (I tried all 3) and it says there's an error. I'll have to try it again to get the exact wording. I really want to start with a fresh template because I'm tired our current site and don't want to start from scratch again.

I just read that you would like to choose a theme.
What theme are you talking about? I can make it different for you if you want

Kind regards

I'm not sure what you mean. I downloaded several free ones from the site here and they won't load in SD 3.5 Are they not compatible?? One I tried was "Save the Planet" but no luck. I was thinking of creating one of our websites from a new template so that it looked very different. But it looks like starting with a template is out.

Hi Tanya,
Site Designer is now in version 5. Most of the templates you see in the CC template collection have been made with newer versions than SD3.5, and they are not backwards compatible. Also, as far as I remember, version 3.5 was not able to transform older templates from e.g. the framework Coffeegrinder into any other framework. You need to have at least version 4 to be able to do that.
And in addition, most of the people who are helping here in the forum are not using version 3.5 any more, they have upgraded. So if they make something for you, you would not be able to use it.
Your best bet is really to upgrade to the newest version of SD, then you will be able to open any and all CC templates.
