The link structure for pages made with SD would be
mypagename.html
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Can you describe exactly what you want, then I'll see if I can put something together for you. It took me less than 10 minutes to create that mockup I posted yesterday.

I want detailed directions on how to make a responsive image map (In ImageMapper, I know how to use it) where user clicking on a feature links to 1) a photo and caption on the page the map is on, or 2) another page.

When Eric sent me a checklist last week, I followed it as best I could and my work failed. After doing it over twice, I got a partial failure (not responsive). Needless to say, my confidence is not the best. I even forgot to add .html to my URLs.

Thanks for asking.

I'll see about it tomorrow, it is nearly midninght here (in Turkey, at the time being).

Edit:
Reading your post again. Having an image and a caption popping up cannot be done with the Image Mapper. You can only create links to open another site or page. But maybe something can be done...

I like that last map Twinstream.

Eric, I like the way you have added colorbox and tool tipster to your image maps that you posted. Do you know if it is at all possible to have an image pop up without using any 3rd party programme or script?

I'm sure I could setup a foundation example doing click or hover. I'll be traveling today so won't be able to try it. Twinstream might be around to give a simple instruct.

ERIC:
I can see using all of these tools in my site. I particularly like the tool-tip of Class of 64 to name features on a satellite image. On the others, I presume you are not linking to a separate page, but showing a pop-up. I really like that.

Hi Stonecherub,

I have written some instructions for you and am attaching them along with a wee test project. Mind you, with Image Mapper 'out of the box' you cannot make images pop up. For that you will need 3rd party scripts, and maybe Eric or Twinstream can explain that process to you.
You can, though, have text pop up when hovering over a sensitive area. In the example project I made a 'page2' in order to show you how to link to a local page. I also linked to an image, and of course to a different site. You can, if you like, have a default page/site opening if someone clicks outside the sensitive spots. I didn't do that, because it might cause annoyance for users.
As I'm saying in the instruction file, I don't recommend using folders for anything pertaining to the image map and the files that can be navigated to within the image map. You appear to be a bit uncertain about correct paths, therefore it's best to keep it as simple as possible.

I hope it helps

INGER: Thank you, so much.
I loaded your project and ran it. Text showed up on the image and the links worked. I copied it into a notepad and then ran my project to copy my html. Unlike yesterday, the text showed up on MY image. I changed the links and they worked, as well.

The only difference with what I already knew is your last item, adding RWDimageMaps to the footer.

I am now sure I can do this, I'm hoping Eric can send me information on the 3rd party apps he's using.

Thank you, again, I'll get out of your hair.
