Stonecherub, the source code of that site says there should be an image at this url:
http://pppotscom.coffeecup.com/CarnegieAllLv g.jpg
But it is not there. Have you uploaded it at all? Or maybe to a different location, into an image folder or so? Also, you see that there is a space in the file name. That might, or might not, be the reason, but better to remove that space.

Actually you can place the scripts within the body. If you share a link after you try it we can probably point out the conflict. I would only make sure its below the image map html.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I just tried, to see if I run into any problem.
I didn't. I placed the scripts in the footer, and that worked just fine!

I may create a wee component, maybe...

Your files aren't upload.
When you get the files uploaded to the correct location these links will work.

Also never use spaces in file names.

Will be back Wednesday to try more experiments. Right now, I cannot get my map to even display, much less to be responsive.

I'm off to the desert.

Just need to get the two files I link to above to the correct location. If the links I posted work instead of showing OOPS! you should be good to go.

Redid the project from zero using Eric's checklist slavishly. Added the map image as regular picture. As with previous attempts, the image in the html element shows up as the little x placeholder. The code to display the image as a map is not activating and I don't know why.

The third textbox (Upload to your server) in the Image Map Exported window contains the following file names:
C:\RSDWeb\ImageMap\CarnegieAllLv15pct_exported\jquery.rwdImageMaps.min.js
C:\RSDWeb\ImageMap\CarnegieAllLv15pct_exported\CarnegieAllLv15pct.jpg
which are in the _Exported folder.

I do not have this project in the
C:/users/Dan/Documents/CoffeeCup/… structure, it is in a separate projects folder on C: Could this be the source of my problem?

I think you need to add the image file and the js file you mention, to the SD project, not upload them separately. And don't add the image as a regular image file. Just add it to the resources. Here is a wee mockup for you to study.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions, particularly Inger and Eric. As Wayan noted, this is mostly over the edge of my limited expertise.

It sort of works. I moved everything (Jpegs, cmap, js, everything) into the same folder in the "normal" win-10 structure (C:/users/dan/Documents/CoffeeCupSoftware/SiteDesigner), because I have no idea what the company has going on in the background.

I redid the cmap, using the 600px width jpg and it is non responsive. I don't know the format for internal urls (other pages) in the html, externals (NYTimes.com) work fine.

At this point, I am looking at a time-hole of indeterminate size and I don't want to be a pest about something that I will probably never understand. If somebody can kludge something workable together for me in LESS THAN 10 minutes of your time, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I will hide this under one rock while I look at the others and, maybe, get back to it in the future.

Can you describe exactly what you want, then I'll see if I can put something together for you. It took me less than 10 minutes to create that mockup I posted yesterday.
