Dear users,

I have create an section as follow:

1) row and then column
2) second 1 subgrid with 1 row and 4 columns in this colums are containers in each subgrid colum.

This is the attachment when you can see that the vertical alignment is so bad

Why are you using RSD 2.5? I thought you had upgraded.

Anyway, try flex positioning, much easier. And don't mess with subgrids.
And it is always much better to get to the point help if you provide the project file. (I'll be away from home until late, so I can't assist you now.)

I have both of them the Responsive Site Designer v2.5 (first practice with rows, columns, subgrids and containers) and then study the Site Designer 3.5 that uses the CSS Grid
Are subgrids comparable with CSS Grids?

CSS Grid is more comparable to Flexbox.

Inger,

I have placed a piece where it goes wrong in a new project file. Everything must remain in subgrid may not be changed maybe you can make the subgrid column flex-container but apparently that doesn't work

Here are my project file created in Responsive Site Designer v2.5

This is the way to do it in RSD2.5. First thing I did was throwing out the subgrids - headlong! No point in making it an excercise in using as much unecessary code as possible. Keeping it simple is much better.

If I were you, I wouldn't go anywhere near the css grid until you are able to master simple, traditional coding, both in some html editor and in (R)SD.
And BTW, SD 3.0 and 3.5 can well be used with traditional coding, you don't have to use css grid. I don't.

If I get time, I can't promise anything. Why do you keep banging on about subgrids? Just because there is a option to use a subgrid, it doesn't mean you have to use it.
And besides, the example I made for you is easy to convert to SD3.x format. With subgrids the conversion is likely to become a nightmare.
