How do I start RSD with my site as default, and not an empty project?
I would like to avoid opening Recent every time I start up.

I guess I could click directly on the project file, but is that really nessesary?

I have a folder on my desktop with my active project files. I just double click on the file I want to work on. It's just what works for me.

A more basic question. How do I start a RSD website?

I think—but can't find this written anywhere—that in CoffeeCup a project = a website.

File > New opens Tips and Tricks for getting Started with Responsive Site Designer
File > Open opens Tips and Tricks for getting Started with Responsive Site Designer
File > Open > Pages > Index (which I think probably means the index page for a site) open opens Tips and Tricks for getting Started with Responsive Site Designer with the words Responsive Site Designer — New Project — index in the top left corner.

Is there anyway to do anything in RSD without having to go through Tips and Tricks for getting Started with Responsive Site Designer?

Go to the File Menu > New from Theme and then go to Blank and choose the one you want to work with. Then in the bottom left corner check the box "Don't show on startup" and check the box in the bottom right corner "Set as default".
