Help with Site Designer Crashing

Hello, I am looking for help with finding a proper offline file compressor. I am not sure which one to use that will be compatible with Site Designer. Is there anyone who can help me with this? I am looking to compress SVGs so that Site Designer won't crash once I upload my documents.

Thanks for any recommendations!

Do you mean when you upload into Site Designer, ??? or when you upload to your project to a server.

I am experiencing SD crashing when I upload images into resources, I have reported it already, and one hopes that they can find out why.

I do't believe it's a problem with compressed images SVG,PNG,Jpeg, Webp, it seems to make no difference which it just crashes after uploading an image

Hi Wayan, I mean when I upload to project resources. Each time I attempt to add them to the webpages, SD randomly closes. I reopen it, it closes again. I'm not sure why, but I am now past my deadline. Something has got to give or else I'll have to abandon the software.

SD also closes as I'm trying to upload the docs to project resources.

When using the word 'upload' I'm thinking of transferring local files to the internet. If I want to add images or other documents to SD, I would just 'add' them.
So, is this about adding images to SD? If I have the SD Resources open, I can just drag images from a folder on my computer into the Resources or to a subfolder in the Resources. The same works with single files of JS or PHP. But if I have something complex, like e.g. a component, I have to use the 'add file' interface. If I try to just drag it, in Foundation it just gets added as a component in the system, and in Frameworkless it makes SD crash, but not actually close. And this has been reported to the CC staff.

Oh, glad to know it's been reported. hope it gets fixed soon! Maybe we are in two different areas of the world so that's the reason why 'upload' and 'add' are not easily understood as interchangeable. I'm glad to be around international developers now, this is cool!

Also, when the resources tab button is pressed, to add photos, site designer closes? Is that normal? Will that be fixed soon? Within a few days or so?

That is NOT normal. But, what kind of files are your images, and what size? AFAIK SD can take the normal images files used on the web (like jpg, png, webp, gif, maybe a few more).
As to size, you should let your images be in a suitable size, not too large. No point in adding e.g. a 3000x2000 image if you want to display it as say, 600x400.

The CC developers are working on a new version, but it will take longer than just a few days.

The types of files I am using are compressed SVGs- to ensure the quality of the product on multiple devices. but if it keeps closing i might try jpeg instead.

So, even before I press a button now SD closes. I am really not sure why, this happens even when I am on a new project.
