Help with Publishing.

Hello!

So, I'm testing the publish feature before I go to far into the site creation and I'm having a bit of an issue.
After clicking Publish it asks me for login stuff, and I successfully log in with my coffee cup account. Then it lists the "choose where you would like to publish your project:" bit, but there is nothing listed in the box. I've verified that my domain is active through Sdirve and all that, am I missing something?

Thanks!

Hi Debra,

You probably would be best to open a support ticket with CC to help you with this.

Since your account was created after you logged into the software, click the Refresh icon in RSD and your site http://www.jordanriverinc.org/ will appear.

@Scott
I thought that would be issue as well, but refreshing does nothing, Also restarting, refreshing and any other combination of the two I can think of doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure what's going on. I'll try the ticket option I suppose but I'm not sure what can really be done with the information that I have.

Scott would be the one reading that ticket anyway. I checked on it and it seems to be working.

Ok, I got it. I actually had two accounts and I was logged into the wrong one. That's a silly silly issue to have. Thank you!

I also am unable to publish my website design. Why not just have a simple PUBLISH.. where we complete the links, URL, passwords.. etc., Maybe we have to have coffee cup host our sites?.. If that's so.. I wish I had never bought this software.

There is nothing in RSD preventing you from publishing, so I think your statement is inaccurate. Maybe you just don't know how to? If so, that process is easy. You can export your website using any FTP program. To do this, click the Export button on the toolbar and export the project to your desired location. Now, use any FTP program to upload your website to your server and you should be good to go!

Easy as 1-2-3.... ;)

Everything is Easy as 1-2-3.. to you guys.. Tried the export button.. still can't publish. I have been designing and maintaining websites for a long time.. Seems there are toad blocks at every turn. Maybe I am not smart enough for your software.. thanks for pointing that out.
