I am replicating a site and they had the meta name tag google site verification. If I am Using CC Menu Builder do I just place this line

<meta name="google-site-verification" content="HsTIDmO8c2VrHw4AYzWZiDKibotJ8uTjBGstgCYLw7o" />

before the end of the head region in the page settings?

Thanks

Byorn

I think that's fine.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

For Google Site Verification, Google tells me to:

1) Sign in to your domain name provider, (CoffeeCup for me)
2) Copy the text below into the DNS configuration for your web site

CoffeeCup is my host, and at the CoffeeCup DNS Settings, I am not sure where to paste the google verification code. In the Host name? In the Address?

Or, (using Site Designer Foundation 6.5.3) do I copy the verification code into into the "Head" area, (Structure Data, Page Manager, Custom Code Settings, Head)? If it is to be copied into the Head, does it matter that I also have a Global site tag for Google Analytics pasted here as well?

I've found that if you use the html file to verify it's easier. Just copy the file and put it in the root folder of the site. Unless I'm reading this question wrong.
