I happened to me working on some paragraphs that I wanted to try the flex box on. So I made a demo here using glyphs.
The paragraphs upper right were done in a flex box, which is tricky because the flex positioning will change depending on how much text there is.
But - below that, there are columns and columns of glyphs. They are in a column, set to position flex, and that column direction is row so that the initial order they are listed goes to the right basically. Then you can set up how the items are justified, and where that justification starts if it would have an impact. First line they are justified center, the st the flex start, then flex end (will have to click on ID to see the these settings as each column has an ID). Then Justify space around, so the glyphs are evenly spaced, then jutify space between, so the glyphs are at the start anbd end of the row, and then spaced inside evenly. Then I changed the direction, to a reverse-column. That takes the first item, and starts it on the bottom, and stacks the rest toward the top. Last column is split, with text paragraphs in the right, then the glyphs in the adjacent column, in a column direction, with space between. I am not an expert in the flex box, but for the glyps you need to do - or icon, or graphics, you should be able to whip out a quick design using flex positioning without getting complicated.
