@Wayan - I've been silent in the wings reading and trying to follow along with the conversations.
Everything that I'm looking it is outdated, some things 8 yrs old.
I've watched the older vids on the nested menu, following along step by step and because V5 seems a bit different than what was in the tut, I'm not sure what's not working.
Another issue that would include the menu, but not, is the use of custom code, svg div/backgrounds. Anyone have anything that is more current? Thank you again.

Dazed and confused.

The menu I am doing for Mr Parky as a step by step tutorial is done entirely within Site Designer V5 latest build,
There doesn't have to be any custom code (CSS JS or other)

I can give you a link to a live view of the finished menu if you are interested.

Thank you, Wayan.

The custom code I am speaking of is for design purposes, not really related to the menu, but the menu needs to sit in it. Think of it as a background image (which it is) but it is svg path code to give color and a wavy edge to it.

I appreciate you. I will take a look at your video when I get home. Here in Texas, 6:15 am at the time of this writing. I will be home late so will get back on it tomorrow. I've been fighting with this menu for a week. Not sure what it is that I am missing.

I want the menu to reside top right, logo text top left. I don't like the dropdown arrows sitting so far from the text, but when I made some changes (will try to upload tomorrow) on the longer text-links, the arrow is overlapping the text. Anywho. Thank you. Have a great weekend. Hugs to all.

Still dazed and confused. More coffee.

I never said there was a video it is a live view example of a menu that I am doing a tutorial for someone, which from the sound of your description of what you Want isn't anywhere near, the original post is about changing the default colour on a nested menu, which is what we are addressing. Your requirement is far different from that.

I think I was also a bit confused, I now see that basically what you require is a step-by-step tutorial thing for your menu thingy doing, and not the whole effect.
Is that correct?
I was getting thrown by the custom code, I mistook your requirement for your menu to be part of the svg thingy or viki-verki
Most of my tutorials are specifically based on someone's requirements, so
how many menu item links do you have? how many of them are dropdown links? and in what order are the dropdown links (ie: № 3 5, 6 )

Sorry for my confusion before

W
