Format across all break points - Post...

Hi Forumers
I've had an issue recently with formatting and break points were I've mistakenly formatted within one break point and gone on preview to find things appear differently. Well yes, that is the whole principle behind break points BUT! From the perspective of building the website.... Is it possible to change an element across all the break points simultaneously?
So for example you have a font colour you want to change. As far as I know you would have to go into each break point to change the colour. So would it be possible to change that font colour across all break points in one go (globally)?
I hope I've explained this ok. It would be good to have this feature... If you are not able to do it now anyway!
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim,
Assign a new class or id to the font and set its styling at the break point needed.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric
Thanks for the reply.
What I'm trying to do is know if it's possible to change thing across all break points all at once and not having to go back to each break point to change the styling. (change all the styling across all break point all at once).
If that not possible, that fine, I just want to know if it is possible?
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim. The answer to your question is yes and no. I'll use font color as an example. Let's say you have breakpoints at 800, 600, 400.

To the right of all the breakpoints (greater than 800), you set the font color for
as red. That applies to all the breakpoints.

In the 600 breakpoint, you change
to green. Red now applies to all widths greater than 800 and to the 800 breakpoint. Green applies to the 600 breakpoint and everything smaller.

Now, if you change the color at greater than 800, it will only apply to widths greater than 800 and the 800 breakpoint. The smaller breakpoints will still be green.

So yes, you can apply styles to all breakpoints except where it has been changed at a smaller breakpoint.
