Force footer to bottom - Post ID 262702

What is the best way to force the footer to the bottom of a page that has little content? I tried flex but it didn't seem to work in IE.

There are various 'generations' of flex. IE11 can't cope with the newest one. See if you can find a solution here:

Thanks. I found a script that seems to be working good for me. I haven't looked at the other suggestions there yet.
