Flex containers - Post ID 270175
Mac Book Pro w/Retina, Sierra 10.12.3, RSD V2.0 build 1975
Anyone else having an issue with flex containers?
I used the You Tube video to learn how to create a table but have not made it past the first row due to the issue.
When I am creating a table with several columns, a click in one of them will change their order. If I continue to click, it seems they are changing positions. As I watch the container and the class box in the right pane, the class and size of all the containers changes with almost every click. This is a one row table/flex box.
I am by no means and HTML expert, hence the WYSIWYG type needs.

It would be easier to help if you would upload your project file, so that we could see the settings.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Hi James - and here I've been blaming the MAC orientation of the programmer for the flaky click issues. :-)
Seems that click down - slight pause - release sometimes responds differently than a quick click/release. I blamed my mouse and replaced that with a new one, only to discover nothing had changed.
When making a table of containers - you might try this - it has worked for me.
Create the flex column with a col orientation. All of your 'cells' will be shown vertically - stuff the contents, assign the ids, then change to row. I often put dummy text (numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc) in the 'cells' to help me ensure my cells are where I think they are, Once I get the col correct, then flip the setting to row - I copy and paste the column, for however many instances I need. To navigate without having the jumping bean container effect, you might try using the inspector, if you need to select a cell after things are arranged the way you want them.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Gordon

Thanks for the response...
Byron, this is the link for the video. Check out the full CC channel, there is another vid showing another way to create a table as well. I think most must be for version 1.5, which I have not used.

gllincoln, I did the same, tried 2 different mice and the built in pad. I could duplicate the issue about 60% of the time.
Let me ask this, on the Mac, are you having an issue with the selector dropdown box arrows? When on the page and selecting elements, hovering over it makes the dropdown in the upper left of the element or grid, the arrow goes missing sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 40 minutes. I have been re-opening the project to get it back.Today, with build 1980, it happen even just after reloading the project prompting me to reload it yet again and they are back...for a while anyway.
I know RSD is a world in itself, creating the style sheet and adding the code, making it hard to import other HTML code from any source, but it sure would be nice to be able and import RSD made code back into RSD. I know I can save pages as a theme and add components, but I have not figured out how to do components yet,(file type and such) because I have not studied this yet. I am fairly new with using advanced features of HTML and of course the visual approach.
Great day to all.

Update on the dropdown box arrows...
It seems to happen only when I change zoom levels to zoom out in order to see the wider breakpoints.
I am working on the laptop this week with no external monitor.
My display is set to default(1280 X 800) and cannot see past the design pane (930 px).
When I go back to 100%, the arrows reappear.
Changing the screen resolution to 1440 x 900 I can see more of the page area and will work there from now on.
Any zoom level other than 100% the arrow is gone.
I also still have the menu bar issue in the full screen mode.
Hope this helps.
