Greetings Support,
I recently acquried Responsive Site Designer to use for re-coding the website for the small church I pastor. I took some time and learned a little bit of the product. While I know I have a long way to go, I think I have coded a site that will work well, and my testing on the desktop browsers has worked well. My testing on mobile browsers however, has not worked as well. The site is currently up and running (I am doing weekly updates and using my main page as a type of Bulletin for the services or the coming week). The site is www.antiochmbc.us and looks great in Firefox, Chrome, and Internet explorer, through breakpoints and all. My testing on the mobile browsers however is a different experience. On IOS 9, and Android 5, I am able to view the site ok, but the fixed background isn't working. On IOS I have tested it on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. On Android I have tested it on Chrome, Firefox, and Silk (Amazon kindle browser). I confirmed that he fixed background isn't working on any browser. To troubleshoot and see if it was my coding, or the program, Is there any known issue with the fixed background working on mobile browsers, or any known limitation that would prevent the fixed background from working?
Attached is the .rsd file for the church site, if needed. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!
Ryan
Fixed background not behaving as...
No project file was attached Ryan. If the file is over 1mb, please upload it to your server and post a link to that. We can then download the file and see what is going on.
One thing I do know is iOS Safari has some odd behavior when using the fixed value. The workaround for this is to change the attachment to scroll for the tablet breakpoint or somewhere near 1024px. I think that is what your issue is here.
