Edit duplication of a row change from...
I'm in the middle of a months long project started in 1.5 but updated to 2.0 with a few pages left to do, (yeah I know not my smartest move). I've made a fair amount of tweeks since on several pages and and now getting to completing the last 2 pages, finally seeing the light at the end of a long tunnel for this project but....
What I used to do in 1.5 was select a row go to edit in the top menu and duplicate when on the same page or copy/paste to another page. That retained the class structure so the CSS file didn't become bloated, and it was easy peasy. Slight modifcation to content done.
What was changed in 2.0 that no longer allows the simple duplicating process, or copy/pasting across pages the same way. How is that done now?

Nothing in RSD v2 has changed in that regards. That is just copy/paste. Can you create a video to show what steps you are taking?
However, if you need to re-use the same Row on other pages, why not create a Component of that or if this is the same content, use a Symbol instead?

I just tried the copy/paste to another page in V2. If I use a theme based on Coffeegrinder, I can copy and paste to another page, but I don't get the css.
If I try the same with a Foundation based theme, I do get the css. Maybe that is the difference, not sure.
But with V2 you have the options of creating components or 'symbols' and the components can even be saved in a library, so that you can use them in any project. That is the new way of 'copying/pasting'

Thanks again for a quick response Scott, helps when you go into panic mode.
I figured out a fix, what I had to do was save, close then reload the project.
We had to that with Web Studio once in a while too when I was working there.
That rebooted it so it was working normally again.
I would have gone to the new component add on but I'm just wanting to get this project over you know how that is sick of seeing it at this point. I'm stoked about getting into the Foundation Framework and the new updates for this next project though.
You posted while I was in preview Inger, I'll let you know on the style sheet a little later after I take a break here. It should copy over since there was no changes to the basic engine, but I'll confirm that.

I don't use a theme with this one but it still does copy over the style sheet classes okay, so it just needed a re-start.
By the way Scott the class sorting issue from 1.5 is still there in 2.0, (being added alphabetically) re: this post
