Download .html from S-Drive into RSD

Good morning!

So... I messed up. I accidentally saved over my project in RSD and don't have one of my pages (blog.html) in the project anymore. However, my blog.html is still uploaded to S-Drive. Is there a way to download/import that blog.html file back into RSD as a page?

Thank you,
Laura

Sorry Unfortunately there is no way to do this. What I have done to prevent this is open up a dropbox account and store your website files there. If something is accidentally deleted you can always restore from many different points in time.

I know your pain! One of the things that I started doing is saving as I go but using a file naming convention that allows me to go back to multiple points in time (like Steve was describing). Here is how I do it.

projectname-yymmdd-hhmm.rsd

Obviously, the name has the date and time in it. By putting the order year-month-day-hour-minute, it keeps the entire list of project files in perfect chronological order. It's a little tedious at first, but having the ability to go back is priceless.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.
