I must have tried 1000 times and every time I click "flex" (in POSITION under "display") the MAGIC does not happen...
Really!! I follow each and every of his steps (even applying the borders like it would change anything !!)..
Is there somewhere I must unlock that function or...??

Please help me Im pulling my hairs off !

Well...
When I click FLEX in the POSITION menu under DISPLAY (related to the column that contains my containers)...
In the tutorial the containers go from STACKED to IN AN HORIZONTAL LINE if I can say so...

So right at the beginning..
Thanks so much for trying to help me !!!

Wow thats strange then so the containers remain stacked ? have you tried closing down and re-booting ?

When you have the column or sub-grid column (whatever you are using to hold the containers) selected double check by looking in the inspector pane, the column/sub-grid column should be highlighted in grey)

Here is another idea --- just to try ---- delete the containers from the column.

then select the column again (should actually already be seleced anyway but just to make sure)

Go to position --- display--- set it back to "Block" if it isn't already so

Do a save for the project

Making sure that the column is still selected go back to position ---- display ---flex

make sure direction is set to "Row" which it should be because that is the default)

Then add the containers

Try that
I can't replicate what you seem to be experiencing difficult to solve without seeing anything (you could always attach the project as a zip file if it's not too big or put it in dropbox with a link) then at least we can see something and work out a fix one way or the other
