I'll look into that, Eric, thanks. I'm building the thingy from scratch again, following Twinstream's idea of moving into one container deeper. It takes some time, and I have bees to look after while the weather is good... ;)

Another suggestion would be to add a class named "larger" to the js-header along with a class named "smaller" which the jscript is adding and removing. Grey out the "smaller" and set css height to large size. With both classes showing set the small css height. You then would need an additional line of jscript to remove the smaller class on load before the other jscript runs.

Have you tried using Foundation's Magellan plugin or Bootstrap's equivalent? The Codepen example seems to work just like Magellan would work, creating an active class with the work around method previously posted in the forums for css that does not go through.

Instead of changing color and such, it would also change other classes (like row classes). However, changing the row class and elements within might require the change of multiple classes, and off the top of my head, I'm not sure if that can be done, or how to do that with Magellan, or a clever manually written class might do the trick

Yes, I will - tomorrow. It's late and I have been struggling with this far too long.

There's a media query in there so you need to squeeze your screen size down.
