Just wondered if anyone has been through this process.
I've set up a subdomain to use static content.
I understand, from researching this that the top domain (non www) needs to be cookieless with the cookies only enabled on the www, other wise all the cookies are set at all levels so the cookieless subdomain becomes pointless (ie not cookieless!)
Theres lots off web sights saying this about the top level domain, BUT (as with so many things like this) they don't tell you the obvious thing. HOW do you can check/tets if your top domain sets cookies or not! Ahhh!

Have you added any scripts to your site that would set cookies?

Thanks for the reply.
Both www and non www, come up with one cookie as a first party cookie
I understand That one cookie is needed is needed to ‘run’ the website.
I thought cookies were an automatic thing and also a useful thing.
Would you think it advisable to enable them on the www. Version?
Not sure how to do that so if you know another website that tells you that would be marvellous.
