Are there any built-in components in the new Site Designer? In RSD 2.5 I had a number to choose from.
Installed and ran Site Designer. After clicking on the Components icon on the top menu bar, it opens, but nothing is there in the library.

Our new Components Shop will be up soon. In the meantime, you can bring in the components from older projects as needed. You'll need to update them to Grid and then resave.
This is the better workflow versus mass importing because it will be easier to keep track of which components use Grid and which do not. Stay tuned as the launch of the Component Shop will be very soon....

Just wondering what the ETA is, this post is quite old and I just sprung for Site Designer 3.0 only to find it's still "components coming soon".

"Soon" is a very flexible thing at CC, it seems. 
We have been waiting for more than a year. In the meantime, pop into my sharing folder and see if you find something useful. URL in my signature.

Thank you Inger for the link to the components page. Looks promising but i have no idea how to add them to a project or SD 3.0 UI. is there a manual somewhere that shows how to use them? I'm new to this product.
Very unhappy. I held off on upgrading till it seemed CC knew what they were doing with their products but this all feels very hack at this point.

Inger, your sharing folder is great! Thank you very much. I particularly wanted to create fixed a header & footer for my pages but had no idea how. Your explanation is good, and I even managed to create AND publish one. I have one of the old free s-drive accounts (under the name cameronlocke) which I hadn't accessed in ages, but managed to get the component into it. I see it when I go into the account. But, I still see nothing in the library window when I want to add the header to a page in V3. What have I failed to do?

Sylvia, I will take a look tomorrow morning , then it is night time here now (I live in Norway, probably half a world away from you). It would be good if you could zip up your project file (the .rsd file) and post it here, so that I can take a look at it.
