I've gone through the tutorials on the Animal Shelter and Visions templates. They give a great intro to RSD.

I am intrigued by the scrolling effects in the Coast template. Is there a detailed tutorial on how you did this particular sleight of hand?

We could make a short write up, but it's fairly simple. Add a background image to the row and set 'attachment' to 'fixed' and 'size' to 'cover'. That's it...but for one little caveat... 'fixed' is not supported well on mobile devices (it's cpu intensive, consuming too much power is the general explanation) so make sure to change the attachment to 'scroll' below a breakpoint of about 740px. (Don't remember what we used in Coast for this but clearly you can also look at these settings.)
