Cards in tabs

Hi,

On the page https://www.orphelion-ensemble.com/members.html I want to use the horizontal tab component of foundation to create different member categories.
I added the component to the page in RSD and I am trying to copy the existing member cards into the tab containers, but they will not paste into the container.

I am wondering, whether there is a limit to how many containers can be nested? I think the problem must be too many container instances.
  • The tabs have : Row-Column-Container - Container.tabs-content - Container.tabs-panel
  • The cards have : Row-Column-Container.card - Container.card-divider
  • Each card includes one modal

    I want to create:
  • Row-Column-Container - Container.tabs-content - Container.tabs-panel - Container.card - Container.card-divider

I guess that is too much. I could take one container out, but not more.
Any ideas?

Max is 5 nested containers, (but sometimes even that RSD sort of objects_

try putting a subgrid into the tabs-panel, first then your cards into the subgrid col (obviously you can delete any subgrid row/column you dont use

Hi Wayan,

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately it does not work either. There seems to be a limit of 3 containers max.
Maybe there is something in the script for the tabs that impeeds the nesting?

I tried it and I got 5 containers nested in a subgrid column made a hover card also that went in, so there must be something else prohibiting placing your cards in

I even got one with a modal window in

Do you also use the horizontal tab from the foundation components section in RSD?
I tried it in a clean new project and only got a card in the subgrid column if I replace the .tabs-content container with the subgrid column itself and place the list container seperately. But then, I seem to break the tab functionality..
Maintaining the container structure of the component I get 3 tops

Yes I have used horizontal tab
no need replace anything

I don't know if its something like you want,, & I haven't done any transition smoothing, so its a bit jumpy

Thanks for the work Wayan!
    I started a new clean project file to recreate manually your container structure and found:
  • After I insert the subgrid in the Tab panel I can add exactly 1 div container. If I try to add another div container or any variation from the drop down (article, header...), it gets pushed underneath and is not nested within the parent container.
  • I can , however, add a link or list container to the parent div container and that one is nested correctly.

    I then tried to add a flex card or a normal card from the components section to the subgrid column within the tabs panel.
  • The normal card was pushed outside the subgrid, but within the tabs panel on the same hirarchical level as the subgrid.
  • The flex card was pushed out from the tab structure all together and on the same hirarchical level as the main tab container

In an nutshell: On my RSD I find it impossible to recreate your version (which is exactly what I would like to have). Now the question is, whether it is my PC (surfacepro), or the newest version of RSD build 2425 (I installed the latest update before starting all this).

The feat is to add a card or simply 2 container levels below the subgrid column. I cannot get this done by any means on my machine and my RSD version.

Wayan, what version are you using?
I spoke to support and they can only put one container below the subgrid as well .
