And Inger,
Thank you SO much for creating this photo gallery! When someone has a vast portfolio of work to show, this is the exact kind of gallery that is needed. And for some reason no one creates or uses galleries like this anymore. My old website, and Facebook, has them and my clients are used to browsing that type of gallery.

I had thought that CC would have many variations of photo galleries in the Components Library whenever it finally came out, but I couldn't wait any longer and I was glad to have found yours. And yesterday I saw the Component Library was finally ready and so I went & bought it! And it only had ONE extra gallery in it - so now there are only 2 chpoces, both of which are Sliders. So I really hope there are some other components I need or that purchase will have been a waste of money.

Again, your regular photo gallery is just what I needed and I thank you so much for sharing all your creations with us!

Well glad you got it sorted
It's easy enough to make your own and style as you need
I just made one just-in-case you couldn't get your to look right, it's different to Ingers, but the same principle. I have gor quite a few "How To" video tutorials about making image galleries

Wayan,
I'd love to see the one you made! I'm always needing galleries!
Trying to figure out the attributes makes my head spin. Someday when I'm not so busy I hope to have time to diving in to learning how to do more on my own. But for now I have to use as much "functional" stuff as I can that's created by others.

Hey Inger (or Wayan),
I have one more question about your image gallery. When you scroll down at all and click to open any of the lower images (not the first few you can see when the page first loads), that image opens in the modal window.

But when you close the image the whole page goes back to the top. If I have 50 images and someone is near the bottom of the thumbnails page and opens one, then closes it and wants to keep looking at the thumbnails, they lose their place because the whole page goes back to the top.

Is there some attribute we can put on the close button (or some code we can put somewhere) that will not move the page from where you had it before you clicked to open an image?
There are 3 attributes on that button now. Just wondering what kind of adjustment we can make so it doesn't move the page when closing the modal window.
Thanks!

(I'm not attaching anything because you can see what I'm talking about by opening the sd3-gallery you created.)

On the close button for the modal window make the href point to the container ID that is holding the image that you want to show if the container doesn't have an ID give it one

I can't remember your layout for the thumbnail images

if it's only 1 container holding all those images then my previous suggestion won't work

in which case you need give all your thumbnail images an ID

I usually make my thumbnails within a container that holds 4 thumbnails which has an ID, then repeat for as many times as requires, simply for that reason.

you could send me that page again to my email, & I can take another look if you can't get it to work
