Border around grid will not go away....

After adding a footer symbol (3 column from components), links added and saved as a symbol I then added a double line border around the main grid, I noticed the border did not encompass the footer. I turned off the border and the radius from all breakpoints and pages. I did this page by page and breakpoint by BP, because I created the various sub pages of the site using only a blank page to start.
I am going back, removing repeated items, and wanting to use more of the component and symbol features.
The border still exist on some pages, even though it is clearly off in the design pane. Also, the radius button will stay on, or be on when the page or project is reloaded. It may show 0's for the size, or it may show the 8px I used to create it depending on the page.
Specifically the Index page (at 768px). I can turn off the radius, save the project, and it is on again. Border is off, but still exists. It even shows the radius button on when the column is selected.
I notice also, with the radius button not activated, the selectors for X and Y radius is not greyed out and I can change the numbers although it has no effect on the grids border, which should not be showing anyway.
Why will the border not go away?
Is there any special rules to place a symbol?
I thought I placed in or under a row. Using the inspector the footer does not show to be within the grid. I thought everything was within the grid. Can sub grids be outside of the main grid?
I am fairly new with this and I know my code may be sloppy in some places from the way I have added elements. Please be kind :)

To remove the border: slide to the breakpoint where you see it.
Go down to Borders in the tool panel, click to activate the borders.
Reduce the thickness and set it to display None.

I'm in a hurry right now, have not time to read the rest.

Just need to turn off the border at one place. Turn it off at the smallest breakpoint there is a grid.

The grid is given a a no max height at one breakpoint, change it back to 100%

The floots slides to the left because at one breakpoint it is given a max width. Change is to 100% again. If you don't like it stretching, and do give it a max-width, then you need to align it to the center in any various way

I don't get the border control thing. Just always double check it for a border, set it to 0, and the line to none.

I don't know, maybe I was not clear.
For the main grid, grid-1, there is no border set...all zeros, at every breakpoint. But, obviously there is still a border showing at 768px and larger.
Adrian "... a boarder set in the square boarder of 7 px... Sorry, I do not understand. I see no borders set anywhere, no matter which element I select. The only button, Home, did still have the radius set, but no border.
Watching the design pane, with grid-1 selected, and changing through the various breakpoints, all border settings are zeros and greyed out, unusable, unless I click the round part of the border control.
If someone is seeing a number in the border px setting, at the 768px breakpoint, or above, please tell me what page and if it is for the grid with a grid-1 class.
And notice the radius button, for me, I can see it white, click the round part, turning it off. Click File>Save, and see it come back on. That is an issue for development. As well, I would bet, when greyed out, and the numbers for X and Y are 0, the numbers should be greyed out as well, and not be changeable, but they are not.
And of course, the border is visible on the page a well.
Bill, thanks, I took care of that off center issue.
I am attaching the file again with a few changes and a "2" designation.

Okay, I have removed it. With what Inger said. I am confused though. Why is it showing off with a zero? Then when turned back on it is at a 7?
Shouldn't the border button not display it when it is greyed (off)?
Why was it showing a 0 when it is greyed (off)?
It is kind of deceiving.

Thanks to all of you for the help.

I don't understand it either. just select it white and grey, and set the border to zero and the line type to none for both white and grey. I think it has something to do with clicking the center will select all four corners.

James, I was not quite clear in my reply earlier today, I should have said select the grid. Well, you say you have got rid of it now.

There seems to be an issue with the footer between the first and the secong purple breakpoint. Set the width on the footer row to 100%, that will fix it.
