Big news everyone! We are going to start holding monthly Webinars soon to go over various things about our software (more information on that will be posted soon). Because we are all spread out across the corners of the world, I am trying to figure out what the best time to hold these would be. Tentatively we think the 5pm-6pm Eastern Standard Time range would cover the East and West coasts of the USA, and it would no be too late in many countries in the EU.

I would love to have some feedback here from you on what times would work for you.

5pm-6pm EST works fine for me.

If the webinars are recorded and can be played back through CoffeeCup.com, then it doesn't really matter what time the webinar is held because I can just view the recording.

I also suggest that a transcript of the webinar be available so that it's searchable and so that the content will appear in a Google search.

Well...being from overseas I happen to know that's 11-12pm there, except for the UK. Maybe a tad earlier?
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Sounds excellent although the time for the UK would be a little late (10-11pm) :(

The time of day is not to bad for me as I am in North America. It will always be off for someone in the world. One thing I think that is important as I have participated in quite a few of these for work is that it be recorded and available for playback so those who cannot attend can at least see what what discussed and or explained.

Perhaps they should be quite early US time one month to accommodate other countries and then 4-5 pm for another month and so on and so on. It would be interesting to discover how many of the CC users who wish view and participate will be able to do so during normal business hours in their counties be it US/Canada or elsewhere. While I see what I presume to be a lot self employed people a lot of users like myself probably work 9-5ish for some one else and would not be able to participate during "traditional"business hours.

Those are my first thoughts.
I THINK THE WEBINARS ARE A GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy....record the webinar for those who come late or wish to view the webinar content at a latter time.
Also we could have a live 24/7 IRC (chat) channel for asking questions and get response in real time. I use chatzilla.
I started the first IRC channel for Flow Player ( https://flowplayer.org/ ), it had a pretty nice amount of traffic coming through back then too and was very helpful for a lot of people!

Well anyway that's my 2 cents,

Works for me here too, but why not do like a bunch of other places do and hold the webinar a couple times at different times of the day to give everyone a chance to attend? I like the idea of the recording also, but it's so much more fun to participate when possible. :)

I would love this, but being in the UK, and also being a pub licensee, my work hours are odd. I would love to watch a recording though, but have no idea how to record it!

Being in the UK its late at night. Like many on here make it live with a downloadable recording for later. It is a good idea to have these recordings so people can look back over certain areas in the software they be having trouble with.
