I've managed to get going, created pages, added pictures etc. how do I make a picture fill the full width of the page?
Also is there somewhere the functionality to create a slider type show for a batch of images?

To allow for an image to span the full width of the page, you would need to make the row full width. To do this select the row in question, and check the None box next to Max-Width control in the Design pane.

Now, you need to decided if you are going to use an image element or apply the image to the background. Normally you would want to do this as a background, and I would recommend applying it to the row as well. Then make the modifications needed to ensure the image shows as you want it to.
