What is the easy way to have a backup of the entire RSD project?? Does anyone have a tried and proven method?

Thanks. Dan.

Just copy the RSD project file to any secure location.

I have 2 ways I do it for the COMPLETED VERSION (THE ONE THAT WILL GO LIVE)

Once the project is complete and ready to be fully loaded to my hosting service,, I always create a folder on my desk top, with a name something relevant & easy for me to find,, then I save the final project to that folder (not exported) just saved in the normal way except this time to that particular folder I just created.

I then add that folder to the resources in RSD (or RFF)

Then I do a normal export of the project,, to my HTML editor for final spell checks/additional tweeking if necessary then ftp to my hosting server. Once the FTP has finished I log onto my CC panel for the hosting service and give a password protection to the folder containing the (RSD (or RFF) saved project.
2/ I also upload that same folder to my Dropbox so now I have 3 copies of the final project saved
1/ Locally on my computer
2/ With Dropbox
3/ On the hosting server for the actual live site (password protected)
That way I have a copy of the project which if I ever need a to add to or change I can upload it from the hosting service, do the changes additions etc,, and then once again follow the same system (which over-writes )the older version once you export it again. Some might say seems complicated & a lot of effort,, but it actually doesn't take that much effort & additional time once you get used to it, & I am happier in that I have got some reasonably good 7 secure back-up of the project file.

This is really only for the finished project, and as Scott says you can just save it anywhere during the build of the project.

- My projects folder is stored on my iCloud drive (DropBox will do as well)
- I have TimeMachine running 24/7
- I have Back to my Mac activated

Slight chance I won't find a copy to restore from ...
