I am sure that has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find a suitable answer...

What are the preferred background image sizes/resolution to feed to different breakpoints? What is the minimum and especially, what is the maximum. Also what ratio? 16:9?

Hi Beastro,
I don't think there's a set size. If you only have one image on your page then it can be a larger size than if you have 20. Test your page for loading to determine whether your images are slowing it down.
